Our Vision and Values
Our Vision Statement
All things are possible for those who believe" (Mark 9.23)
We strive for all our children to reach their full academic, social, emotional, and spiritual potential by building solid foundations during this chapter of their lifelong learning journey. We are committed to providing a safe environment for children to learn, where all are valued. Our vision for the school is underpinned by a set of DREAM values, which guide how we encourage our pupils to live each and every day.
Our Values
Determination
We know that if you are determined and resilient you will feel confident to try, knowing we can make mistakes. We do not give up
Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9)
Respect
We know that respect means having a good opinion of others and accepting people for who they are. We treat everyone kindly, even when they are different from us. We take care of the environment and value the local community and the wider world
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets (Matthew 7:12)
Empathy
We know that empathy means understanding how others feel and showing that we care. When we put ourselves in someone else's shoes, we can be kinder and more thoughtful.
Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you (Ephesians 4:32)
Aspiration
We know that aspiration means aiming high and believing in ourselves. Trying our best helps us grow, even when things feel challenging.
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11)
Morals
Having good morals help us choose what is right and fair. Being honest, kind, and responsible helps everyone feel safe and respected
Let us not become tired of doing good. At the right time we will gather a crop if we don’t give up (Galatians 6:9)
Together, these DREAM values shape how we live, learn, and treat others, guiding us to be the best version of ourselves.
